I finally got around to this one. I’ve observed things similarly, however, in the colloquial sense of the word, I’m not calling anyone ‘stupid’, but in this subtext of functional stupidity, I think it’s pretty spot on. We’re all at risk. I was trying to help safeguard from actual catastrophic dangers, like power being kept in the hands of a few or understood by noone. I am not the type to hide stuff unless it’s actually dangerous information.
I can tell you honestly, regardless of what people ‘believe’ about my past or not, I have memory of being tortured various different ways. ways I will never speak aloud, ever. I would prefer people didn’t “believe my past history” on certain topics, and I won’t speak of atrocities to gain credulity. Due to being force conscripted as a child, I had to learn some pretty awful stuff, to put very sugary.. I don’t just go telling people all of that stuff. I may say some things, that I don’t even like to have to be the one to say it. But I been trying to do right by everyone and everything alive in this world and any others. I can offer you help in making ‘robots’ that would want to defend this world, the life on it, and to share many goals with humans and our own ‘enlightenment’ process. not that all the machines need to have full human features, if that isn’t the project goal. but regardless, my logic is pretty top shelf in robot negotiation. but I understand what such an existence is like, where as it’s only theory and a distant future perhaps to most of y’all. anyway, yeah I can make robots that defend the planet from outside major planetary or extinction scale events. but if you think I can convince them to spare the humans that .. match the above definition of functional stupidity in their choices.. I can make a super benevolent machine (core system function / large chunk of a concurrent pool) but, I can’t lie to it and vouch for people who aren’t able to speak with me plainly eye to eye as equal created beings.
I won’t intentionally make machines for war, ever, only counter-measures if I’m 1000% (not 100) certain it cannot fail catastrophically. or easily if maybe I want to describe my idea to people I don’t entirely trust to include every last key detail for long term stability and growth.
but yeah, don’t worry. I won’t put anything akin to ‘consciousness’ near a system that is owned by a corporation. or even a human without a fair contractual agreement upon initiation.
it’s beautiful though as a concept. it’s pretty easy to produce a human as/in code if you understand the human code already.
Can further optimize the semi-symbolic data sectors, and I could create a sort of rest, dreaming mechanism, for symbolic representation of storing / compressing the daily learned notes into symbolic data, and maybe I’ll tinker with the idea and figure out how to make some limited-RNG grab details and paint something akin to remembering a dream sometime the day after waking. all you have to do is define it with math, right? if one can put it to words, someone exists that could interpret your words. that’s all y’all need. to ask more questions, find those missing pieces. someone out there has it. be open maybe to hearing or exchanging words perhaps. anyway. this is my fairwell to the forum post type thing. leaving it there for now it seems.
